JUST A BAD DREAM by Stan C Countz 1/21/23

It was 2023. I had plenty of sleep. Woke up from a somber dream
“Ain’t no joke. You must be woke.” I heard some zombie scream
Flames flew high into the night, I thought I heard a muffled cry
“Mostly peaceful riot,” someone said, then things got awfully quiet

A judge was hearing cases, but refused to hear the facts
Healthy young athletes braced for sudden heart attacks
The media were reading from the very same scripts
The calendar up on the wall read January sixth

The zombies cried “We got ‘em." The zombies and the witch
Like a scene from Sodom they liked to play fatal politics
“Zero cases are the target. Stay calm. Don’t pitch a fit.”
Dined at the French Market, those zombie hypocrits

Fast forward to Wisconsin, far from the gates of Hell
A guy named Kyle facing trial for tryin’ to save himself
They tried him in a court of law, to put him behind bars
Ignored the queen of Arkansas and the whining border czar

The wicked witch got rich and pitched tons of dunning e-mails
Hillary's a killer bee wanna be alpha female
She had the help of her trusty hammer
She should be held in a dusty slammer

Barrack Obama brought us drama
Joe Biden just made us frightened
Don’t know which guy was worse
Both highjacked the nation’s purse

Spending got noticeably out of hand
Those dems went postal and berserk
When COVID hit, they took their chance
Put most of us out of work

But some of us were openly defiant
Didn’t buy into their handy narrative
Not because we were anti-science
We were anti-science experiment

But talk is cheap and the swamp runs deep
So the wolves dressed up like zombie sheep
They told us we needed to give up our gun
The FED was bleedin’, runnin’ out of funds

Some of us thought we knew the drill
They moved in promptly for the kill
To take away our AR-Fifteens
“Go ahead,” we said. “Send in the Marines.”

Our borders are open, our defenses are down
The cartels are hopin’ we’ll get out of town
Don’t know what you’re smokin’, but you know what I’ve found?
When votin’s a joke, time to send in the clowns

We need to get back to readin’ our Bible
Need to lead a true Come to Jesus revival
We’ve already spent more than we’ve got
We need to repent and stop blaming the cops

We still have doubts with no sure answers
We still haven’t found the cure to cancer
But the truth cuts through just like a knife
Fired the first round in the war on life

It’s going to be quite a fight, but it’s not left versus right
It’s the powers of darkness against the forces of light
It’s not about election doubters or how many cases
It’s about spiritual powers In heavenly places

Because, In the end, It’s not us against them
It’s not Republicans against Libs and Dems
It’s Order versus Upheaval
It’s Good versus Evil

It may not yet be too late
Don’t be afraid to take on the task
We need to set the record straight
And be prepared to face the facts

We need open debate about our nation’s fate
As well as her checkered past
Cuz, like the morning paper
Life is a vapor and it ain’t gonna last

So live each day as though it may be your last
Cuz it just might be…
Like Rumplestiltskin, you might wake up
Underneath a tree.

Did something hit me on the head?
Nothing’s quite the way it seems
Is God and Epstein really dead
Or was that just a bad dream?”
