THE GOLDEN AGE
You’re worthy to receive, honor and praise
We need Your mercy, oh Ancient of Days
We sing Your praise, oh Great I Am
Waiting for the day, the lion lays with the lamb
You’re the Author and Finisher of our faith
Father we minister by the power of Your name
You’re the One who made this universe
Alpha and Omega, the Last and the First
God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
The One we see when we rise and wake up
Giver of breath, we stand in awe
Good Shepherd, and Lamb of God
To save our race, You became a man
They drove stakes into Your feet and hands
A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief
Your tomb was borrowed, You hung -- between two thieves
You came to Your own and they were blown away
When, three days later, the stone was rolled away
They read the scrolls from the olden days
That said Messiah must come to show the way
But no one knows the toll it takes
To usher in, the Golden Age
You blotted out our sins and washed ‘em all away
You are the potter, and we are the clay
Only the Father knows the hour or the day
You’ll come in power and usher in, the Golden Age
The Golden Age when Messiah reigns
You’ll bind the father of lies in iron chains
We won’t need fighter planes
Or vaccines for virus strains
Since time began, it’s always been Your plan
To save the human race, You became a man
No one can take Your place or take us from Your hand
As we wait for the day, the lion lays, with the lamb

Excellent lyric!
